So with the roses I made earlier within the previous blog post i begin to play around with the layout and background.
so in regards to the rose i wanted it to be the main focus of the movie poster, especially with the colour i have in the rose head. with the movie title being "bonds" i want that to have abit of a size element that contributes to itself and allow the rose to also be framed to an extent. with the first concept for the poster i had almost given the background a dirty type of filter by scrunching black paper and erasing certain ares with a low opacity. this is what it looked like.

At first i really liked the layout, but i did find the rose stem to be kinda lost with the background but i didnt even really consider it as much as i thought. The rose head came out well as i wanted it to be a main focus point, but was also lose due to the size of it. The size and proximity of the title I like but i felt and was told that it was bit top heavy, and also the title lettering was similar to "Bonds" the clothing brand. however from this I carried on still trying to get the placing of my poster here and there, getting the placement and hierarchy of the contents a space.

Here i had made the size of the rose much larger and centred it abit more, but at this point i really felt it was top heavy, especially with the actor names at the top. I also felt that the brightness and contrast of the background for the poster needed to be adjusted to allow the rose stem to be seen a bit more.
