In all honesty, I haven't used a huge range of computer software's over my life but do have a few favourites and one of them would be Adobe Photoshop.
There is no real way to really use Photoshop as it enables people to edit, create, enhance, remove. You name it, Photoshop can most likely do it. It also enables the new user’s guidance from past users through tutorials and tips and tricks to get them started on their Photoshop journey.
The reason I enjoy using Photoshop is that although I’ve used throughout my college years I’m still learning as the years go by. its helped me gain skills being able to manipulate imagery of either my creation or others. As of right now, I’m using photoshop to help produce and create pieces of work for my assignments and portfolio. I definitely enjoy using photoshop as it allows me to express my own way of design, it’s allowed me to flourish in my knowledge of the application and use its tools to help enable and benefit me through my designing journey.
Although the application is something many people would love to experiment within a lot of aspects it does have some downfalls in certain areas. one being the cost of the actual application, the application takes a lot out of the bank for the purchase to use the software. If the software is bought then the sizing of the actual software is large file size, taking a lot of space on a computer. In regards to the computer as well, if the computer is unable to run the programme sufficiently, Photoshop is pretty much redundant.
Overall the Photoshop software is a software I believe most designers should think about getting. It’ll allow them to see new ways to explore the creation and editing of imagery in a new aspect. The software is indeed one of my favourites and maybe yours too
