Prototypes

This weeks session for DES241 we were looking into the idea of rapid prototyping and how it is important. Obviously there are reasons on why prototyping is an important aspect for almost everything, it gives a sense of its ability, where things can be improved, what doesn't work etc.

So what Mr Billinghurst was letting us know, was that through prototyping you can test out and get more ideas to change their product or whatever they are prototyping. He also showed and explained ways we can prototype quickly and easily.

Ways to prototype:

• Wireframing

• Storyboarding

• Videos

• Models

As from what Mr Billinghurst said, prototyping is a good way to understand the idea of something and be able to further or elaborate on ideas.
