Main factors and tips from training: Why do designers end up sketching

-Be able to show the ideas through a easy medium.

-Enables them to put ideas to paper.

-Helps the designer be able to keep track of his/her ideas.

Tips from the man Hans himself:

-Be able to create sketch's without using a eraser, embrace your mistakes and carry on.

-Include annotations along the way of ur sketching, be able to elaborate the sketch, and allow the viewer to understand the sketch.

-Don't do the back and fourth motion when sketching, just a nice one motion sweep type of flow.

-Don't be afraid to sketch both in 2D and 3D views or perspectives.

-Be able to use a correct way of shading/hatching to create the effect your trying to create.

Hans gave us three tasks to complete.

-The first task was to bring new sketch's to life, based off a bottle he presented. Us needing to change size,curvature etc.

-Second task was to be able to manipulate the bottle in regards to its surrounding environment.

- Lastly the final task was to create some sketch's independently exploring different shapes and flows of the following chair.
