Reflections - Me as a person and my journey.

Growing up as a kid i liked a lot of things that ranged in many aspects, and as time has gone on, everything i liked back then isn't really something i like right now. Being the only child for a pretty long time I would say i was exposed to many things, especially when i was with my cousins. Growing up with my cousins was such a funny way to spend my childhood and without them I definitely wouldn't be the dope person i am today, same goes with my parents. Anyway growing up with my cousins we did a lot; played video games, drew stuff, played sports together a lot of things we did together. As we grew older we began to go our own ways. Me being me i'm still fairly the same; chubby goofy athletic dude that wear glasses and watches anime.

Sports, anime, games and shoes were a big deal for me when i was growing up, and today they still are. These 4 things are what pretty much sums me as a person. With all these things within my life over the years it really made me think of ways to try and search for avenues to pursue in a designing career regarding these aspects of life for me. Currently i'm striving to establish myself as either a Graphic Designer or a UX/UI Designer. But the passion i've had for shoes has always made me have a lingering thought of trying to establish myself as a shoe designer for a branded shoe company, but that's a lingering thought.

The Design 100 and 101 course is definitely a new amazing experience for me in all honesty. Being surrounded by like-minded people that share a similar passion is an awesome thing. The course enables me to explore new and creative ways to expand and intertwine my design knowledge with the content i'm getting. Also the ability to learn how to use equipment such as; 3D printers, Laser cutting machines etc in the Fablab with the design technicians Thomas and Jamie.

To be honest I do believe that I am growing as a designer each and every day, and feel that the course is allowing me to better myself and my design skills.
